Incredible technology – as the mentor I felt I was right there with the surgeon I was helping.  In our case we were able to perform an operation that had never been done previously in that country, and I am confident the patient received an excellent repair of their congenital problem.  I was able to speak, animate the screen, bring in an xray and a diagram, and participate in the procedure remotely from my desk 7000 miles away.
